Percorrendo a longa estrada da vida

Um pé diz: "estou cansado". O outro responde: "eu também".
O fotógrafo Klaus Pichler registrou tatuagens de presos, e entre muitas histórias, achei a desses pés muito poéticas.
Tropecei nisso aqui.

Getting introduced to a GENIOUS

I was surprised and delighted to see Jean Michel Basquiat's paintings and drawings and everything else at his exhibition at the Musée de l'Art Moderne in Paris. I merely knew him as one of the Andy Warhol protégés and heard he was one of first graffiti kids in NY, but really I never imagined he could be such a GIANT artist.
He lived shortly, but had a considerable amount of work with an amazing and overwhelming view of urban/streetlife, a delicious lust for Africa, solid concern for the african-american History in the U.S. and some shocking caribbean cheerfulness (himself was half Haitian, half Puertorrican). Add some quite cultivated ancient greek and roman culture inspiration, a madness for the crowns, royalty and Copyright, the fundaments of Anatomy and you have one of the best things ever done in Modern Art (or as you might wanna define it).
I wish I could render all the sensations his art made me feel, but for luck I could take some pictures, so it is better I show them:

And this was only in the first room!!! There were some children visiting the expo, they were given paper and pencil to draw and some of they enjoyed it enourmously, like the two little lads above. But there was this pretty girl who made such an incredible reproduction of a painting that at the end had all of us, visitors, looking at her version instead of Basquiat's!
Too bad the guards came tell me to shut the camera :-(((.
